I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!!
 

Got a call this morning from my 60+ year old mother, she wants to talk my dad into raising a couple beef cows for eats and treats!!! this after years of warning them about hard times coming etc and being called idiotic for prepping a few times by the afore mentioned mother.... I have no idea what set it off, maybe the latest round of price raisings in the local store. I do not care, it looks like they may finally be waking up. I volunteered to help put up fencing and to help take care of the things. A couple cows on their property and chickens on mine, this is gonna rock.

That sounds great. It is very disheartening watching those you love go on day after day without realizing the vulnerability of the system to chaos. Quite exciting when they finally awaken.
